Two Popular Ingredients Found In Colon Cleansing Products

If you look at a list of ingredients on many effective colon cleansing products, you will find that there are a few common ingredients in them. These common ingredients have their own effect on the colon as well as the intestines. These two common ingredients are quite effective and are found in must colon cleansing products as a main ingredient.

These two common ingredients that are found in colon cleansing products are all natural. They are bentonite clay and plyllium husk which are extremely effective in colon cleansing. Bentonite clay is an edible volcanic ash and psyllium husk is a plant fiber.

The use of psyllium husk or Powder

You will find that a gentle colon cleanser is psyllium husk or powder. It is also called Isabgol or Plantago syllium. When mixed with water, this ingredient forms a gel, and this same gelling action occurs in your digestive tract.

As psyllium husk travels through your digestive tract, it draws toxins from your system. It will also bind with fats to get rid of them. Since it is known that Psyllium husk has such a drawing effect, it pulls moisture out of your body as well. You will need to replenish your water intake by drinking extra water when you take psyllium husk.

Bentonite Clay

Bentonite clay, also called volcanic ash, is used as a bulk laxative in the colon cleansing process. Bentonite clay binds with heavy metals, viruses, toxins, chemicals and bacteria that can bring about bacterial balance to your system. Bentonite clay can not only improve digestion by will stimulate liver function. Bentonite clay, just like psyllium husk, will draw moisture from the body so it is very important to keep a supply of water handy to drink. There are many different healing clays that can be used, so if bentonite clay is not suited for you, then try another edible and healing clay for colon cleansing.

Shake it up, Baby!

Do you want to know how to make a shake from psyllium hush and bentonite clay? Blend 1 Tbsp. of liquid bentonite clay and 1 tsp. psyllium husk powder in a large glass of juice or water. Vigorously shake this mixture and quickly drink it. Chase this with another glass of juice or water because you to not want any psyllium in your throat since the psyllium will swell. You can work up to drinking two of these shakes a day. Drink these shakes for a few weeks to cleanse your colon.

Colon Cleansing Product Reviews: Choosing the Right One

As people show more of an interest about their health, colon cleansing products are becoming increasingly popular in this country. Sad to say, not every one of these colon cleansing products delivers the goods. Before jumping on the bandwagon in order to start a colon cleansing program, it would be wise to read some colon cleanse reviews to ascertain which products will give you good results. Authoritative colon cleanse reviews may be found in health journals and magazines. You can also do an Internet search to find some reliable websites concerning colon cleanse reviews.

What to Look For in a Colon Cleanse Product

Constipation problems should be eliminated ( no pun intended!) as well as irritable bowel movement problems when you decide to try colon cleansing products. When reading colon cleanse reviews, make sure to pay attention to how effective and how fast the product works in terms of reducing constipation and giving you relief from your irritable bowel movements. If you have a good colon cleanse product, you should experience results in a short amount of time. Sometimes you may have to try a few different products before you find the one that is suited for you.

A good colon cleanse product not only relieves constipation and irritable bowel movements, but it also kills parasites that live within the digestive tract. Intestinal parasites are more common than most people think. Even healthy people have some parasites inside them. Before you spend your money on a colon cleansing product, make certain that this product can effectively kill parasites in the digestive tract. If the colon clean product does not say on the label anything about the anti-parasite effect of the product, then keep looking for a better one. Make sure you also read about the different ingredients on the label before you buy the product. Colon cleansing products that are composed of natural and organic ingredients are better than the ones made up by synthetic ingredients. Some good news from all of this is that the former colon cleanse products can give you much better results without any harsh side effects. If you will read some reviews about natural colon cleanse products vs. synthetic products, you will see what I am talking about.

Know About Malaria Causes, Symptoms and Treatment

Malaria is an infectious disease caused by a parasite, Plasmodium, which infects red blood cells. Malaria is characterized by cycles of chills, fever, pain and sweating. Historical records suggest malaria has infected humans since the beginning of mankind. The name “mal ‘aria” (meaning “bad air” in Italian) was first used in English in 1740 by H. Walpole when describing the disease. The term was shortened to “malaria” in the 20th century. C. Laveran in 1880 was the first to identify the parasites in human blood. In 1889, R. Ross discovered that mosquitoes transmitted malaria.

A person gets malaria from the bite of an infected female mosquito. The mosquito bite injects young forms of the malaria parasite into the person’s blood. The parasites travel through the person’s bloodstream to the liver, where they grow to their next stage of development. In 6 to 9 days, the parasites leave the liver and enter the bloodstream again.

Malaria is caused by protozoan of the genus Plasmodium.

Infection begins with a bite from an infected mosquito.

The parasite travels from the mosquito to your liver, where the parasite begins to reproduce.

The parasite leaves the liver and travels to the bloodstream, where it infects red blood cells. The parasite reproduces in the red blood cells, which destroys the cells and releases more parasites into the bloodstream.

Malaria is transmitted by female mosquitoes that carry the parasite in their bodies. When the mosquito bites a human, it injects a small amount of its saliva into the human’s bloodstream. The saliva contains parasites that travel through the person’s bloodstream to his or her liver. There, the parasites reproduce. Eventually, they leave the liver and travel back into the bloodstream. Once in the bloodstream, they begin to cause the symptoms of malaria.

Symptoms

Malaria symptoms occur at least seven to nine days after being bitten by an infected mosquito. Fever in the first week of travel in a malarial risk area is unlikely to cause malaria, however ill travelers should still seek immediate medical care. Although malaria is unlikely to be the cause and you must evaluate some other fever.

Can Malaria be Treated?

Malaria can be treated . Your doctor can prescribe medication that can result in a complete recovery. However, if malaria is left untreated, complications may occur.

Treatment

Prevention of malaria what is practiced in epidemic areas is by spraying insecticides like DDT. Many new drugs are available for malaria, however most of the drugs are derived from Quinine derivatives. Malaria often requires treatment with medicine (antimalarial medications). Most of the time antimalarial medications effectively treat the infection; however, some malaria parasites may survive because they are in the liver or are resistant to the medication .

Gelsemium

The characteristic time for the chill is about the middle of the day. The heat is attended with red face. Drowsiness, dizziness and dullness are characteristic symptoms.

Don`t let mosquitoes spoil your holiday

Has this ever happened to you? It`s the first night of your well earned break. You are tired and weary after a long flight, so you decide to have an early nights sleep. Then you can wake up bright and early, on the first day of your holiday. So far ,so good.

Cut to the bedroom scene. You are laying in bed gently drifting off to sleep when ……..zzzzzzzzzzz You hear that dreaded high pitched whine in your ears. You leap out of bed, and it`s Lights,Rolled up newspaper, Action! once again. As you waste half the night scouring every corner of your hotel room, clutching a newspaper,to use as a fly swatter, searching in vain to find that dreaded mosquito.

And needless to say the very next day, you did not wake up rested and refreshed, ready to hit the ground running.but very tired, very weary and very irritable.

But by taking a few simple precautions this scenario need not happen to you,or your family this summer break.

So here are my five favourite ways to stop mosquitoes ruining your holiday.

1- Before dusk close all windows in your hotel room, and turn on the lights, and the air conditioning unit, to deter them.

2- After dark wear long sleeved garments, full length trousers and ankle socks. Spray insecticide or repellent into clothing material for added protection. Avoid walking in long grass, or sitting near still water such as ponds or lakes.

3- Deterrent Devices such as mosquito coils contain pyrethroids and pyrethrum, and should be placed upwind, on the floor of your terrace or balcony, to deter ankle biting mosquitoes.

Electric vaporizing mats are generally thought to be more effective than coils when used in a closed room.

Knock down mosquito sprays also containing pyrethroids and pyrethrum and can be used to kill any mosquitoes that have entered your hotel room during the day.

4- Repellents such as DEET can be purchased in spray, roll on stick, or gel form. But although effective, some people find its smell unpleasant, as well as being messy to apply. Citronella and Eucalyptus are more natural repellents, however it is generally thought to be not as effective as DEET.

5- If you can manage it, sleep with the lights on, as mosquitoes prefer the dark.

However sadly sometimes you can do all these things, but you still get bitten, and although most mosquitoes, are more irritating than life threatening. There is one exception to this rule. And that is WHEN TRAVELLING IN THE TROPICS. If you are planning a tropical trip, you should always take a full course of anti malaria tablets,(these can usually be purchased over the counter at your local chemist shop) because in some tropical countries a mosquito bite can KILL.

Plus you must take out travel insurance, with a good level of medical cover. So read carefuly all the insurance information in your insurance policy, to make sure that you are covered for doctors bills, and to be flown home in an emergency.
